Meet the Board
Amanda is a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She attended Gulfport High School, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and then the University of Southern Mississippi where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and became a Registered Nurse in 2005. After a year of medical-surgical nursing, Amanda found her nitch in the world of maternity nursing. She has worked in all areas including labor & delivery, newborn nursery, postpartum, and also at an OB-GYN office. In 2012 she became an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and has continued her work with mothers and babies in both the hospital setting and as a volunteer in the community. Amanda has been married to her husband, Beau, for 12 years and they have two children, ages 10 & 7 that were both breastfed. Amanda hopes to continue helping many more moms and babies with their breastfeeding journeys in the future.

Stephanie Gable is a Maternal/Child Registered nurse, 29 years, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, (IBCLC), 15 years. Stephanie has a long history in breastfeeding advocacy in hospitals, private practice and in her communities. She has received national recognition for her dedication to empowering mothers through education prior to and following delivery of their babies. The advice these mothers receives helps them reach, and often, exceed their personal breastfeeding goals. She is the owner of Gulf Coast Breastfeeding Center, LLC, providing lactation services to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and surrounding areas including Mobile, Hattiesburg and Slidell. She is also an RN at Ochsner/Hancock Medical Center and serves on the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative committee as their IBCLC.
Stephanie is married to Jeff and they have three daughters. The challenges she experienced while breastfeeding her children allow her to be empathetic to women challenged during their own breastfeeding struggles. She uses her knowledge and experience to ensure mothers overcome obstacles to meet and/or exceed their goals.
