About
The South Mississippi Breastfeeding Coalition was formed in August 2017. Initially, La Leche League Leaders for the Ocean Springs group planned a lunch for those who worked or volunteered in a role supporting breastfeeding families had the opportunity to meet. Those in attendance quickly realized that by working together we could accomplish goals not possible as individuals. Our flagship project was to create a directory that provides breastfeeding families with a list of area resources. This document continues to be updated as it serves as guide across the 6 coastal counties.
